Walker
Performance is based on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Some
of our designs have been featured in the March 2004 and November 2004 issues
of Street Machine magazine.
Walker Performance specializes in the design and manufacture of custom inlet
manifolds and associated components. As well as the extensive selection of
manifolds in our product range, we also design and manufacture manifolds on
a one off basis to suit customers individual requirements. If you have
an idea or concept, Walker Performance can make it a reality.
The original concept for our twin throttle body manifolds came from the VN
Commodore Group-A, with the desire to keep the manifold entirely under the
bonnet. A factory 5.0L injection manifold was machined down and a sheet metal
plenum tig welded to it. All new manifolds are of a multi-piece design. This
current design allows greater ease of machining, fitment and refinement.
We offer our customers a modular manufacturing process that allows them to
customise their product to suit their unique vehicle. One example is the CNC
Machined Walker Performance emblem in the top sheet of the plenum. For a very
minimal cost, we can include other designs and graphics of your choice. Fuel
rails and vacuum fittings can be re-shaped and re-positioned to suit specific
needs. Cable mounts and brackets can be concealed. We are even thinking
about a plenum option in polished stainless steel for the ultimate finish.
Walker Performance can manufacture custom stainless aluminum intake ducting,
POD style filters, filter enclosures, surge tanks and custom made aluminium
brackets for any purpose. We can also provide a full polishing service available
for your parts or ones purchased from us.
